Grade 2: Excursion to Sovereign Hill

On Friday 18th of March the grade 2 students went on an excursion to Sovereign Hill. As part of the excursion, students went into an olden day’s classroom and explored the gold fields around Sovereign Hill. They experienced the daily life of a miner 150 years ago and saw some of the games they played and clothes they wore. They walked inside the underground mine and panned for gold. Despite the cold and rainy weather, students had a great time.
